The Right to Information (RTI) on the UIDAI website enables citizens to access information related to UIDAI’s functions, services, policies, and decisions, promoting transparency and accountability as per the RTI Act, 2005.
The Annual Report contains the information required to be forwarded to the Government of India under the provisions of Section 27 of Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act,2016. This report also includes an overview of UIDAI, the functionalities assigned to it by the Aadhaar Act, 2016 and the audited Annual Statement of Accounts of UIDAI is also part of this report.
Preparation of Budget and related work (Budget Estimate, Revised Estimate and Supplementary Grants, re-appropriation, etc.) and allocation of budget among Functional Divisions at HO and Regional Offices
The Parliament Questions section on the UIDAI website is divided into Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha sections, providing questions raised by Members of Parliament and official replies related to UIDAI’s functions, policies, and services, ensuring transparency and public access to parliamentary proceedings.
The policies of the Unique Identification Authority of India provide a structured framework for the implementation, management, and governance of the Aadhaar ecosystem. These policies ensure data security, privacy, transparency, and efficient service delivery while defining roles, responsibilities, and compliance standards for all stakeholders.
This framework also includes internal policies such as the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy, Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) Policy, and other administrative and employee welfare policies to promote a safe, inclusive, and accountable work environment.
